According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, cashew nut exports reached 271.7 thousand tonnes, worth $ 2.536 billion in the first nine months. Accordingly, the export of cashew nuts in 9 months increased 5.5%, but decreased 0.7% in value.

According to statistics, in the first half of October, cashew exports reached 14.5 thousand tons, worth 123.83 million USD. From the beginning of the year to the end of 15/10/2018, cashew nut export reached 286 thousand tons, valued at $ 2.659 billion, up 4.8% in volume but down 1.8% in value over the same period. 2017.

The decline in value is partly due to a slight decrease in average export prices over the same period last year. Specifically, the price of cashew nuts reached $ 8.611 per ton, down 14.3% compared with September 2017. In 9 months, the average export price of cashew nut was $ 9,335 per ton, down 5.8% compared with 9 last year.

Cashew nuts are exported mainly to key markets such as USA, China, Holland, Germany and Canada.
